System Options: Check In / Out

Birthday Greeting (System wide)

Default: 3 Days (+/-)

The kiosk can display a special birthday greeting to family members when their account is accessed and when labels are printed. This system option allows you to specify the number of days (+/-) from the date that an account is accessed that a person's birthday must be before the greeting is displayed.

Campus Filter

Default: All Selected

Each event on the Church Calendar can be filtered by campus using the Event Builder. Use this option to specify which campus events you want to display on this Kiosk.

Check In Non-Family Members (System wide)

Default: No

Use this option to turn on or off the ability to for a person to check in someone who is not part of their household. Turning this option on will display the Other People button on the Family Selection Screen.

Check Out Non-Family Members (System wide)

Default: No

Use this option to turn on or off the ability to for a person to check out someone who is not part of their household. Turning this option on will display the Other Peoplebutton on the Family Selection Screen. This option is only applicable to events that support check out.

Complete Message Delay

Default: Automatically close after 3 seconds

At the end of a check in/check out session, a summary of the processed transactions will appear on the screen. Use this option to specify how long this summary should stay visible before it is automatically closed.

You can also opt to never show the summary or to leave the screen open until manually closed by a user. The summary screen will also close when someone clicks anywhere on the screen.

Express Check In (System wide)

Default: No

When a person is identified at the kiosk, their entire household will be available for check in or check out. You can give users the option of checking in their entire household in one action by enabling this option. Express Check In will check each family member in to all of the events that are available to them at the time the request is made.

Turning this option on will display the Express Check In button on the Family Selection Screen.

Express Check Out (System wide)

Default: Yes

When a person is identified at the kiosk, their entire household will be available for check in or check out. You can give users the option of checking out their entire household in one action by enabling this option. Express Check Out will check each family member out of any event that they are currently checked into provided that theevent supports check outs.

Turning this option on will display the Express Check Out button on the Family Selection Screen.

It is important to note that you cannot use Express Check Out to check out non-family members if the Check Out Non-Family Members is turned off. For more information, please see 'How do I check someone out who is not part of my household?'

Minimum Age Button (System wide)

Default: Yes

If you set a minimum age limit to use the kiosk, people who do not meet this limit are automatically excluded from the name selection list. This option allows you to display a button next to the name selection list that will include or exclude people not meeting the minimum age requirement. This can be useful when you want to access a child's account with the Override PIN to view their status.

Minimum Age to Update (System wide)

Default: Any Age

Use this option to specify the age a person must be in order to update account information.

Minimum Age to Access (System wide)

Default: Any Age

Use this option to specify the age a person must be in order to access the kiosk. If a person is under the minimum age, their name will be omitted from the name selection list and they will be denied access to the Family Selection Screen.

Multi Event Selection (System wide)

Default: Yes

This option turns on or off multiple event selection on the Event Selection Screen.

Setting this option to 'Yes' will cause the Event Selection Screen to remain visible until the Return button is pressed.

Setting this option to 'No' will cause the Event Selection Screen to return to the Family Selection Screen whenever ANY event is selected.  This can speed up the check in process but a user will have to select a family member again to check into or out of more than one event.

Also note that when there is only one event available for a person to check into, the Event Selection Screen will immediately return to the Family Selection Screen as soon as the event is selected.

Multi Event Label Printing Rule (System wide)

Default: Print a label for the first event only

When a person checks into multiple events you can use this option to specify whether to print a single name tag for the first event that they check into or a separate label for every event that they are checking into.

Reprint Labels

Default: Yes

Use this option to specify whether or not you want to allow label reprints at the current kiosk.

Require Passcode to Reprint

Default: No

Use this option to specify whether or not the Master Kiosk Passcode is required to reprint Name Tags and Security Receipt labels.

Show Family Selection

Default: Yes

Use this option to show or hide the family selection screen in Kiosk Mode. Setting this option to 'Yes' will allow the person accessing the Kiosk to check everyone in their household in or out of events. Setting this option to 'No' will allow the person accessing the Kiosk to check only themselves in or out of events.

Show PIN on Quick Status

Default: No

Use this option to specify whether or not to show the selected person's personal identification number (PIN) on the Quick Status page.

Status Filter (System wide)

Default: All Selected

Use this option to specify the status codes of the people you want to include in the name selection list as well as the Family Selection Screen. People with a deceased status are automatically omitted from these lists.

Processing Message (System wide)

Default: Thanks for using Elexio Check-In!

This option allows you to set what message should be displayed when processing check in or out activity.

Serving Events: Show Events Rule (System wide)

Default: Confirmed Requests

Use this option to specify when an event a person is scheduled to serve at should appear in their Event Selection list. 

Setting this option to 'Confirmed Requests' will display the event when the person has responded 'YES' to ANY of the serving position requests.

Setting this option to 'All be Declined' will display the event unless the person has responded 'NO' to ALL of the serving position requests.

Serving Events: Serving Check In Rule (System wide)

Default: Confirmed Requests

Use this options to specify which positions to mark as 'Served' when a person checks into a serving event. 

Setting this option to 'Confirmed Requests' will only set those positions for whci hthey responded 'YES' to the serving request.

Setting this option to 'All but Declined' will set all positions EXCEPT those for which they responded 'NO' to the serving request. 

All Events: Show All Events

Default: Manual

When a person is identified at the Kiosk, a list of available events will be created and presented to the user for action. These are referred to as 'My Events'. The user can check into events, check out of events, serve at events, or do nothing at all.

An event is considered available to a user when ALL of the following conditions are met:

1. It is a current event (i.e. it has not ended)

2. It is available for check in (i.e. the current time is within the event’s eligible check in window)

3. The identified user is in the list of Expected Attendees - or - the event is a ministry and the user is on the ministry schedule.

If there are no available events at the time a person is identified at the kiosk, the list will be expanded to include events that satisfy only conditions 1 and 2. This list is referred to as 'All Events'. This gives the person the ability to check in or out of events for which they are not per-registered.

Use this option to specify how you want the 'All Events' list to be displayed:

  • Automatic = automatically display all events when there are no available events

  • Manual = display all events when the user press the Show All Events button

  • Never = show my events only

All Events: Never Show Events Message (System wide)

Default: You have no events available at this time.

Use this option to customize the message displayed to the user when there are no available events and the Show All Events option is set to 'Never'.

All Events: Manual Show Events Message (System wide)

Default: You are not pre-registered for any available events at this time. Press the 'Show All Events' button to see a list of all current events.

Use this option to customize the message displayed to the user when there are no available events and the 'Show All Events' option is set to 'Manual'.
