Enter Your Small Groups & Ministries

From the Administration Page, select the Groups link.  There may be several sample groups already entered for you.  These are provided just to give an idea of what kind of information can be stored and how to enter it.  You are encouraged to edit or delete these groups.

To add new groups click on the Common Tasks button and select Add New Small Group.  Enter as much information as possible about the small group.  Add people to the group using the People in the Group link located on the right side of the screen above the list of people or from the People page - Involvement section.

From the Administration Page, select the Ministries link.  Many typical ministries have already been entered for you.  To select a ministry to view, click on the list of ministries on the left of the screen.  To add new ministries click on Common Tasks and select  Add New Ministry.  Enter as much information as possible about the ministry.  Add people to the ministry team using the Maintain Involvement link located above the list of active team members or from the People page - Involvement section.  To delete a Ministry Team click on Common Tasks and select Delete This Ministry

Criteria for Small Groups and Ministry Teams to appear in Portal:

In Elexio Database, under the Administration screen, on the Groups screen:

1. Check box Publish Online

2. Select a Start date

3. The end date has to be in the future or blank

Notes:

1. The location has to be fully complete for the Google map to work

2. For a Group - there has to be a leader assigned to the group

3. For a Ministry Team - there has to be a follow up coordinator assigned to the group
