File Gallery
A File Gallery displays a list of files, and can be set to automatically update and generate a podcast or RSS feed. It's a great way to display sermons with audio or video files or to provide a list of documents.
For other options for sermon or media display, see Media Center, Audio Block, or Video Blocks.

dialog box, select File Gallery.
- In Gallery Options, first choose a method for telling the gallery which files to display:
- Entire Folder: (This is the most commonly used option) The gallery will display all files in a specific folder in your Files area
. Under Source Folder, click the Browse button to select the folder with the images you want to display. Check off the Include Sub-Folders checkbox to include files in any folders found within your source folder.
- Select Files: the gallery will display only the specific files you select. Under File Gallery Items click Add a File to add files to the list. You can select a list item and use Edit File Location to change the file referenced. To remove a file from the list, click the red delete icon.
- Use Custom Sorting: check this box to control the order in which your files are displayed. To change the order, select a file name and use the up and down arrow buttons provided. Note: checking this box removes the Default Sorting option.
- Still under Gallery Options, set how you want your list to display:
- Columns to display controls how much information about each file will be displayed. You can reorder the list of columns or turn column on or off.
- Default Sorting sets the order for the File list's intial display (users can still click a heading to change the order for the they are viewing the files).
- Upload a New File: This button will display as a convenient shortcut when a user with editing rights comes to the page. It will only display if the gallery is set to display an Entire Folder. This allows administrators to set up a user to upload new files without giving access to the entire Files area.
- Secure Files: If the File Gallery listing includes secure files, a "Log in to view secure files" reminder will display if the page viewer is not logged in.
